The American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification course prepares course participants to quickly recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies such as heart attack, cardiac arrest, and choking in adults, children, and infants by performing high-quality chest compressions, deliberate ventilation, and timely use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
The American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/AED/First Aid courses are designed for those with no medical training to quickly and easily learn the steps of CPR and operate an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Recognize and respond to the most common first aid emergencies until advanced help arrives.
Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens was designed specifically for workers with a reasonable chance of coming into contact with bloodborne pathogens. The course teaches employees how to protect themselves and others from being exposed to blood or blood-containing materials. This course is designed to meet OSHA requirements for bloodborne pathogens training when paired with site-specific instruction.
Upon successful completion of an American Heart Association course, an eCard will be issued.
